Ceramic goods are some of humanity’s longest lasting manmade items and our mission is to transform and adapt them.
Every piece is handmade, unique and numbered, in limited production series. Every step of the process is carefully studied and tested, in understanding the limits and best practices to give shape to our ideas.
The result is an unique ceramic piece, handled with expertise, treated with attention and delivered as a fulfilled journey.
Our Creations
Labyrinth
Pushing the limits of molding and structural detail, the difficult angles and sharp edges make this piece a demonstration of how versatile ceramics can be.
The casted shadow on its patterned surface, creates different light effects that changes along the day, as the sun travels throughout the sky.
The clock, as the hours passes by, gives evidence of the different light patterns in an ingenious and elegant way.
Like a labyrinth, this timepiece traps light and time as the sun moves away.

About us
Luis Ribeiro, an industrial designer and son of two ceramists, grew up with ceramic pieces, tiles, paints and brushes. A legacy that allows him to look at ceramics as part of the family. And deep respect and humility for the art and materials.
Figuli Ceramics is an extension of the desire to create unique pieces, a place where we can experience the magic of ceramics and realize that every day, we learn something new and wonderful. It starts as a way to maintain a family legacy dedicated to ceramics but asserts itself as a new source of knowledge and experiments.
Joining his knowledge and experience as an industrial designer to the world of ceramics was a natural process, which culminated in irreverence and his own style. And insatiable curiosity.
